Ramazan Biçer

Partner, International Tax & Exit Structuring

Ramazan brings a unique and powerful and top-tier advisory experience to Tinvento, specializing in optimizing the financial outcomes of complex international exits and sophisticated wealth structuring.

His deep understanding of global tax frameworks, honed over years working within tax authorities and leading advisory practices, allows him to craft innovative strategies that maximize net proceeds and protect wealth for founders, corporations, and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) navigating critical transitions.

With an extensive background that includes 11 years at the Turkish Tax Authorities, where he led international tax teams, advised major taxpayers, and was directly involved in drafting pivotal tax legislation,

Ramazan possesses an insider’s perspective on how tax systems operate globally. His role as a Turkish delegate to the OECD provided him with firsthand experience in shaping international tax policy.

Transitioning to the private sector, Ramazan served as a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for three years.

During this time, he managed a diverse portfolio of complex international tax projects, further refining his expertise in cross-border transaction structuring and tax optimization for multinational clients.

At Tinvento, Ramazan leverages this comprehensive experience to advise clients on a wide spectrum of critical issues directly relevant to successful exits and wealth preservation. His areas of focus include:

Ramazan is a recognized thought leader in his field, having published numerous articles in prominent international publications and authored the book ‘Transfer Pricing Practices Guidelines’.

His academic credentials include an Advanced LL.M. Degree in International Tax Law from the prestigious Leiden University in the Netherlands, further strengthening his expertise in European and international tax frameworks crucial for Tinvento’s client base.

Fluent in English, Ramazan also holds CPA and Public Internal Auditor licenses, underscoring his commitment to professional excellence and rigorous financial standards.

Ali Vargönen

Partner, Founder Strategy & Technology Exits

Ali Vargönen brings a rare and invaluable perspective to Tinvento, combining firsthand experience as a successful technology founder who navigated a major private equity exit with deep expertise as an international investor and venture capital partner. His journey provides him with an intimate understanding of the entire entrepreneurial lifecycle – from inception and global scaling to the complexities of a high-stakes exit and subsequent strategic reinvestment. This unique vantage point allows him to guide founders and investors with exceptional insight through their own critical transitions.

Ali’s entrepreneurial drive was evident early on; at just 16, he founded Vargonen Technologies. He built this managed cloud service provider into a leading operation in Turkey and scaled it into a global entity with multiple data centers serving thousands of customers worldwide. This experience gives him profound insight into the operational, financial, and strategic challenges of building and scaling a technology business internationally.

Crucially, Ali successfully navigated the exit of Vargonen Technologies to a top-tier private equity firm. Having personally experienced the demands, pressures, and rewards of such a transaction from the founder’s seat, he offers unparalleled empathy and strategic counsel to founders preparing for their own exits.

Following his exit, Ali transitioned seamlessly into the investment world. He became a partner in venture funds and actively scaled businesses across key international markets, including the UK, USA, Netherlands, Turkey, and the UAE. This phase provided him with a deep understanding of investor motivations, fund dynamics, and the criteria that drive successful investments and exits from the capital provider’s perspective.

Currently, Ali also leads Fearless United (Amsterdam) and Fuven Capital (Dubai), entities focused on driving high-impact ventures and strategic investments, particularly in cutting-edge sectors like AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and advanced technologies. His diverse investment portfolio spans mobile apps, B2B enterprises, and military defense technology, giving him a broad understanding of the technology landscape relevant to many of Tinvento’ scale-up clients.

Hazal Soytorun

Manager

Hazal graduated from the Department of International Relations and Political Science in Istanbul Bilgi University.

After an internship at Labour Voices, a non-profit company that reports on protecting the rights of blue-collar textile workers and holding companies in the private sector accountable within the scope of labour rights, she continued her career at Ernst & Young (EY) Türkiye in the Global Compliance Department.

During her period at E&Y Türkiye, Hazal worked with both local and international clients operating multiple sectors. She primarily worked on corporate tax legislations and accounting obligations.

Besides, she actively attended tax compliance audits and compliance report preparations. Hazal continues her career as a ‘Manager’’ at Tinvento and involves mainly in international company structuring, cross-border investment strategy and international wealth management.

Hazal speaks Turkish and English fluently.
